Due to short turnaround this week, we don't have a ton of content, but we have a few special moments we'd like to share with you!
The Horn household has been busy in the runup to the holiday season. Apparently skating backwards wasn't enough of a challenge, so he donned the goalie mask and went between the pipes for a recent contest. Will struck fear in his opponent's hearts on the way to a dominating 9-4 win. Will (1-0 as goalie) was then mobbed at center ice by his teammates after the victory. We'll plan on interviewing him at Christmas to ask about the secrets to blocking shots, but we suspect the answer might just be "It's easy, you just catch the puck with your glove."
We don't have a Trinity Tiger basketball update this week as they've taken a winter break (slackers), but we DO have a very special holiday themed event to share with our readers / viewers.
Molly, ever the entertainer, has been SERIOUSLY working on her dance moves. Youtube won't let us share the video due to licensing isues (Robert Van Winkle apparently doesn't like sharing his song), but you can view this memorable performance here.
Lakeside JV girls have now won 5 in a row after their slow start to the season. During their win streak, the Warriors are averaging 50 points per game. Hannah Vanderhoof led the charge for the Warriors against Deerfield on Monday with a career high 18 points. She followed that up on Thursday with 8 points and 7 (SEVEN!) steals in limited playing time.
