The fourth edition of the Post Pattern from 1981 came just prior to the Impeccable Tailgate of that season. With the team slumping to a 2-6 record, the calls for Bart Starr's dismissal from the team were growing louder, including quips from John Simmons, Dale Sabo, and an article from Marvis. The team's performance didn't stop the streak of baby announcements (or maybe it was the cause!) as this week's issue had more baby news. This print also serves as a master class on the art of tailgate prep. Check out the list Mundo came up with! I think we've found where Rick gets it from. :)
This vault visit marks another "first" for the Post Pattern. On page 2, Hoofer treated us to a special tribute to his alma mater. The song, "Big Bad Red" was supposed to be sung to a tune by Jimmy Dean. We're not sure this is exactly what Hoofer had in mind, but our AI analysts did their best (within legal bounds) to put Hoofer's words to life.
