1980 Edition 8

For the 8th edition of the 1980 Vault, we head to the last week of the NFL season. This edition clearly reflected the mood of Packers fans at the time.  Several articles lament the Packers fate, including grumbling about the "what-ifs" and "coulda beens".  Our beloved Marvis shared a few thoughts in that vein.

For our Game of the Week, we head to Week 16 of the NFL Season. Sadly, Green Bay limped into this game on a three game losing streak after holding out playoff hopes just a few weeks earlier. Their cross-lake rivals, the Lions, hosted the Packers at the Pontiac Silverdome. We were unable to find a complete video of the game, but have included a link to a highlight video from the Week 16 season which includes the Packers contest vs the Lions.
